What Is a Breast Lift?

A breast lift, also called a mastopexy, is a surgical procedure that elevates your breasts to a higher position on your chest. The procedure restores the volume of the upper breast, tightens stretched skin, lifts sagging breast tissue, and raises droopy nipples to the center of the breast mound.
